What healthcare reporting teams expect from a designer.

  • Will the report meet our state health department tabling deadline?
  • Can you present clinical and quality indicator data clearly?
  • Do you handle patient and resident storytelling with the right consent process?
  • Can you align the report with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards?
  • How do we present aged care Star Ratings and quality indicators?
  • Have you delivered for hospitals, LHDs or aged care providers before?
Why healthcare teams pick us

Three things we bring to a healthcare brief.

Healthcare and Aged Care reporting
Healthcare reporting
  1. 01

    Clinical data, clearly told

We translate quality indicators, patient experience metrics and clinical outcome data into spreads a board and a community can both read.

  2. 02

    Story alongside compliance

Patient and resident stories sit beside the regulatory disclosures, with consent and clinical sign-off built into the workflow.

  3. 03

    Tabled and accessible

WCAG 2.1 AA tagged PDFs ready for state parliamentary tabling and public publication on health service websites.

Frameworks and regulators

The standards a healthcare report works against.

We design every report to clear, named standards so your audit, assurance and accessibility leads have nothing to chase.

  • Standard

    NSQHS Standards

National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (ACSQHC).

  • Standard

    Aged Care Quality Standards

Quality standards enforced by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

  • Regulator

    AHPRA

    Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

  • Authority

    ACSQHC

Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.

  • Disclosure

    Star Ratings

Aged care Star Ratings published by the Department of Health and Aged Care.

  • Disclosure

    MyHospitals

    AIHW public hospital performance reporting.

Reporting in healthcare and aged care

Health services and aged care providers carry one of the heaviest reporting loads in the country. Annual reports, quality accounts, care reports and statutory disclosures all sit on top of clinical operations. We design them so the people who fund, govern and use the service can actually read them.

Standards we work against

Reports are built against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, the Aged Care Quality Standards and AHPRA guidance for clinical content. WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility is in scope by default for state health and federal aged care publications.

What we deliver

Annual report, quality account, aged care quality and Star Ratings report, board and member communications. Print, accessible PDF and microsite outputs handled in one project.

FAQ

Healthcare questions.

Cost, timeline, accessibility, NDAs.

All questions
Can you align the report with the NSQHS Standards?
Yes. We map content against the eight NSQHS Standards so accreditation evidence and board reporting both pull from the same source.
Do you handle aged care Star Ratings and quality indicator reporting?
Yes. We design the Star Ratings summary, the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program data and the resident experience reporting in one document.
Will the report meet WCAG 2.1 AA for state health publication?
Yes. We deliver tagged, screen-reader-tested PDFs that meet WCAG 2.1 AA. State health departments publish to that baseline as a hard requirement.
How do you handle patient and resident consent for stories?
We work to your existing clinical consent process. Stories are de-identified or fully consented, and the design treatment respects the clinical context.
Can you produce a plain-English summary for the community?
Yes. We design plain-English summaries that sit alongside the full report for community, family and member audiences.
What does a healthcare report typically cost?
Most healthcare reports land in the $14,000–$28,000 band depending on page count, format and the volume of original data visualisation. We confirm a fixed fee in writing after a 20-minute scoping call. See full pricing.
